Snapsome operates like other online marketplaces where users can list and search for goods, but with more awareness of who you're transacting with. We utilize a user's social media presence to generate Snapsome Scores to provide insights into their credibility and trustworthiness. It's important to note that as of now, we do not handle payment processing on Snapsome. Therefore, we strongly recommend only using protected payment methods, such as PayPal Goods and Services and Venmo Purchase Protection, for any transactions made through our platform.

All you need is a Snapsome account to start browsing and selling! However, in order to safely complete transactions, we recommend you use a protected payment service such as PayPal Goods and Services or Venmo Purchase Protection when completing transactions on Snapsome.

A Snapsome Score helps you get a better idea of the users you're conducting business with. When a user validates their social media accounts, we generate a Snapsome Score by using public information such as account age to add points to the Score. The higher a user's score, the more peace of mind you can have when buying or selling with them. Details of your social media account stay anonymous to other users.

If you want to purchase an item, simply click on the Buy Now button on an item's listing, confirm your shipping address, and then wait for a reply from the seller. Your address won't be visible to the seller until you've sent a payment - until then, we only show them the zip code for shipping purposes. Send the payment using only a protected method such as PayPal Goods and Services or Venmo Purchase Protection. When the item arrives, make sure to leave a review of your experience!

To make an offer, click on the Make Offer button on an item's listing. Next, input your offer amount (including shipping), confirm your shipping address, and include a message if you'd like. Your address won't be visible to the seller until you've sent a payment - until then, we only show them the zip code for shipping purposes. The seller can accept, reject, or make a counter offer. Once an agreement is met on price, send the payment using only a protected method such as PayPal Goods and Services or Venmo Purchase Protection. When the item arrives, make sure to leave a review of your experience!

Selling on Snapsome is easy! Click the Sell + button to start a listing. Fill out the item details as accurately as possible, making sure to document any important details about your item such as specs, damage, alterations, etc. Serial numbers for tech are required, but don't worry -- we only display them to Snapsome users. Photos should be at least 1080px for the best upload quality, and capture any sort of unique identifiers your item has.
